The haldex was done last year and I now have a list to be going on with... Throwing out LR's service schedule and going to produce my own one with the aid of the posts which have come through on this thread. Busy couple of months ahead. But many thanks your input has been appreciated

Well oil change in gearbox complete but with lockdown not really able to put milage onto it to fully test her out. Up and down shift are definitely improved and much more silky. I'm hoping for a good outcome but will let you all know if it goes the other way fingers and toes crossed ...many...

So gearbox oil changed and a bit of test run and no issues with gear selection so far Shift ups and shift downs also seem smoother and quieter. Thanks to all

That makes a lot of sense when you process it. But I suppose that's why there seems to be so many people having gearbox issues as they are following the schedule. So what other things are worth checking over, what about diffs and transfer boxes and the turbo anything that's a common issue on...

As you trust manufacturers to be aware of the best way to look after the major components you trust them....to build their schedule for each model to match for best practice... The learning curve of all things land Rover is steep... It also makes me wonder about other things as timing belt is...
