Iv gone from td5 to 300tdi and im happy with the tdi, drives very well and has enough power for everyday, only thing i miss is the noise the strait through made on the td5

After a bit of investigation my diff breather was blocked :mad:

Should of stated the truck sorry, its a 1985 defender but i believe it has later axles on it off a 300tdi disco

Hi, iv got diff oil leaking on to the inside of my rear tyre, can anyone advise on what seal has failed? Is there 2 hub seals on the rear axle?

Well Its up for sale! It's a 2004 chawton white Td5 Air con Central locking Electric windows 154000 miles Taxed till march MOT till August 2012 Since iv had it its had as follows New windscreen + seal Steering box New puma doors (original doors were damaged) Alternator Safari snorkel Brand...

It's mint tbh, no corrosion on it anywhere the doors were replaced as someone had tried to bend the drivers door back and the passenger door was dented also!
