Hello guys ! Hope you Can help me out here! Bought a discovery 3 hse v6 2007! Left hand drive.. It is Displaying a bonnet open message on the console when I start he car and while driving but the bonnet seems closed ok! Also when I lock the car the horn honks once.. Any advice/help...

Not what i meant mate!!! I know how much their cost and upkeep is as i have owned 4 range rovers this one being my 4th !! I will happily part with cash but as im sure you will know as do i smaller independent specialist garages wont charge anywhere as much as range rover dealership garages do...

Would just like to ask you guys what is the normal position for the rev needle when idleing?I have a 1995 4.6 hse autobiography and the rev needle sits on the first bar above the zero when ideling! Is this normal?Seems a bit low to me. Thanks in advance

Hello all, quick update! Just wanted to say thanks for all your help on this thread but i have managed to sell the range rover on as it is!Unlike the idiot i bought it from i was honest with this buyer regarding the cars issues! Thanks again

forgot to ask do i need to lock all doors etc and keep my finger pressed on the unlock button on fob for the last turn? Thanks again

I am in Edinburgh! the keycode lockout message seems to stay on continuously when the key is in but havent really checked if it goes off when i lock the car but i am presuming it does after a short period if thats what you meant before i try the eka code etc?

Hello I rang the guy but now he is being an idiot and telling me nothing! Took the cash and having nothing more to do with the car or me basically ! I have the owners handbook and the new keepers slip from the v5 that's all I have really! Any info or help at all is grateful thanks

Hello and thanks for your reply! Unfortunately I don't have any code as I bought the car of a private seller on Sunday. As for the key turns could you possibly tell me the exact sequence of the turns in each direction etc if that's at all possible anyway? Thanks again
