    I think 300 ha summed it all up very well....best to join a club, try a tyro, then maybe RTV, start and learn your off-roading skills where you are not going to damage your motor. then you can progress, you will be amazed at what a standard Land Rover can achieve with enough commitment.

    Thats looking really good, you will need another motor for offroad soon......are you still planning on the heated screen and door mirrors as well? Would be interesting to know the noise level difference now, I should imagine its a good place to be in now on the faster roads. Keep up the good work.

    Kick down assembly for 3.9 running Carbs

    Throttle control from RR is coming in from the left, so the bracket is made up the wrong way round, I was thinking more of extending throttle spindle and making up a bracket to bolt on the back of the block.
