Thanks for the explanation has made a lot of sense. I have seen a two inch terra forma lift kit but did not know how much work would be involved and if it would involve much cost. It does seem easier to find the lift kits.

I'm new to this so I'm trying to understand are the shocks more important or the springs? Also are pro comp shocks any good as there is a set of bearmach springs with procomp shocks at standard height? Cheers it's taking me hours to find any info.

Hi again, I'm in need af advice again I Would like to improve the ride of my disco with out increasing the height as the off roading I do isn't very harsh I don't need the height. Oh ok should it keep going up till the engine is started or go off after a set time as if I leave it on with out starting it does not stop. Cheers

Hi there quick question when I put my N reg disco on to pre heat there is a clicking sound under the bonnet even when the light has gone out it starts ok after a couple of pre heats but I'm not sure if it should be making that noise. Cheers

Cheers for the advice I just wondered about bolting them on if they were like for like as it just seems easier to find cheap disco 2 side steps then disco 1 steps second hand is all.

Hi there just got my first Discovery and would like to know if i can put side steps from a Discovery 2 on a Discovery 1 300tdi to make life easier getting in and out. Cheers
