Chris.....
Chap on Facebook Landrover lightweight owners worldwide has A seat base stencilled with your military reg no.
"Anyone know whereabouts of 43 GF 56. Possibly an FFR.
I have a seat base stencilled with the mil reg.
Christmas is about long lost friends reuniting."

Definitely take your time and try to unpick the rusty bits rather than just slice them out with slitting disks....
And measure measure measure before welding anything together.
Bearing in mind rusty bulkheads do move shape over time... some dimensions on here...

Looks like you're making good progress.... been there done it and still wearing the T shirt from my 2a Station wagon...
-
To be fair unless you have health problems AND OR stupidly wide tyres...
If your steering is too heavy then chances are you have issues with worn components...
Wear in the multiple ball joints/steering box/steering relay/swivels and railroad bushes all add up to making them a pig to drive...

Bit Awkward for those that run diesels tho ;-)
-
Totally box standard with Velar on the front.... probably ;-)

Working here.... BUT looks like most if not all previous posts are gone..
Barring some stickied topics etc

That's not mine,
BUT I have re enforced the 3 I have to make them even more resistant to removal.

Apparently only if you drive a freelander....
-
He's omnipotent.... not a pervert....
-
Ridiculous....
he wouldn't lower himself to anything less than a 109" and would definitely smite anything that was less than 24v and didn't smell of festering squaddies.
-
Disklok....
BUT make sure you re inforce it for max effect....

If God drove a landrover....
his spare would be on the bonnet AND it'd be a 900x16 bar slip.
