    Bulkhead TLC Thread

Definitely take your time and try to unpick the rusty bits rather than just slice them out with slitting disks.... And measure measure measure before welding anything together. Bearing in mind rusty bulkheads do move shape over time... some dimensions on here...

    Series 2 Pas need advice

To be fair unless you have health problems AND OR stupidly wide tyres... If your steering is too heavy then chances are you have issues with worn components... Wear in the multiple ball joints/steering box/steering relay/swivels and railroad bushes all add up to making them a pig to drive...

Disco 2 Bonnet mounting spare wheel

Ridiculous.... he wouldn't lower himself to anything less than a 109" and would definitely smite anything that was less than 24v and didn't smell of festering squaddies.

    Series 3 Best Security?

Disco 2 Bonnet mounting spare wheel

If God drove a landrover.... his spare would be on the bonnet AND it'd be a 900x16 bar slip.

Series 3 Chassis repairs - advice needed

To be honest IF the bulkhead is in decent order I'd prefer to do a chassis swap by lifting the body off in one. with some prep (pre fitting new brake lines and refurbished axles) and a two post lift/hoists it's doable in a weekend . myself and a couple of mates did an 88" with ease.

Series 3 Chassis repairs - advice needed

Trouble is.... what you can see NOW is likely to be the thin end of the wedge (almost all the bits that rust on a landrover start rusting from inside.... what you can see now has been festering away for some time) By all means repair/have repaired BUT expect more to need attention than you can...
