I'm testing the water here.... bit of a reluctant sale... It was kitted out for some moderate greenlaning by the previous owner, it has a 12,500lb wireless/wired winch and winch bumper, safari snorkel and breather kit, galvtec full steering guard, EGR removal kit fitted, diff pan guards front...

i could be up for this.... anything set in stone yet?

cant beat a bigger battery, well in terms of CCA anyway, my 30tdi manual started struggling recently in the cold snaps, more due to infrequent use than anything else, but it literally went from needing a few goes at starting to the battery not being up to the job. Fitted a NUMAX Leisure battery...

Well that's the cheapest I got by a loooong way, flux only seem good when the vehicle is modded or of a specialist nature, my dad got quoted about £890 for his standard vectra lol, that quote of mine was the best, still expensive compared to others but personally that's the cheapest I've had it...

Tell u wot tho, I'd love to know How u got it that cheap fully comp, mine is £700 protect NCB all mods, greenlane/off road cover and that TPFT no breakdown or key care etc, im 24 with 5 yrs NCB, clean licence etc, I was gettin sum quotes into the £0000's lol

AFAIK flux allow a certain amount of mods on a like for like replacement basis FOC with a 4x4 policy, I've been with them for around 5 years, first 3 on my modified Mazda RX8 then last 18 months with me disco, only slightly modded, winch and winch bumper, snorkel, breathers and bigger A/T tyres...

Props to Flux, got my renewal with a slight increase per year, £901, then after haggling the life out of em and gettin comparable quotes elsewhere they went down to £712 per year which im mega happy about, been with flux for nearly 5 years nearly now and can't fault their prices or service :-)

cheers... jus nipped out & it works with the spare fob... tried it about 5 or six times then, worked everytime, and yea mines the 2 button affair and i was just about to search for the battery type to then fleaby some batteries, saved me a job mate cheers!

why not? its all ive got and it's never stopped me, granted you dont need a winch and winch bumper, but they help ;)

mines a 300TDI 3 door, standard ride height, test drove some with lifts and for a daily driver they would have been a nightmare, just get urself a winch bumper and winch, some diff guards and a steering guard and some chunky A/T tyres and the world of laning is yours to explore :D i gave £2200...

weird thing really..... the hazards always flash when i lock her, but then when unlocking her, sometimes they work, sometimes they dont... any ideas? 3 door btw ;)
