    Thanks for the help,much appreciated. Looks like 2 new solenoids then, at least I'll be able to fit a passenger in now. I took the van to my usual mechanic and he mentioned about fitting a new slave/master cylinder but wasn't sure it would cure the problem and with the part being £90 I decided...

    Howdo all. Stuck a short post on the intro thread but will put more details here as it looks like the part of the forum I'll spending most of my time.
