Was reading a poll earlier for which landy was best for off road an was suprised how not many people went for the lightweight. Why not? I thought they were built for off roading? Aren't they the same as a series except for the body, interior the same etc?

yea but you can pick up an older V8 for under £1500, Td5 a bit more expensive to buy

i dunt mean economy/mpg, i mean are they responsive? lookin at fuel prices these days im wonderin if its as cost effective to LPG a V8 as it is run a diesel.... but with a bit more power any opinions?

for arguments sake we'll base this on a series 1.... if you took the engine/transmition etc out just leaving the chassis - braking system - body parts, what kinda weight would you be looking at? :)
