I gravity bled the system and re-adjusted the master rod. Hopefully the new clutch plate isn't stuck.
I don't know what the pressure should feel like but I definitely feel more pressure as peddle goes down.
I can move into all gears when engine is off.

Just spent all day putting new clutch plates on and my series 3 is still not allowing me to put her in gear. I try reverse but she just crunches. All forward gears do t crunch but don't allow me to move the gear stick at all.

I am having trouble with the clutch on my series 3; the clutch peddle goes to the floor on first push but then only goes halfway thereafter, unless I bring it to the top for a couple of seconds I can then push it all the way to the floor again.
I thought that I had correctly bled the clutch but...

Thanks for your reply. I'll probably go for the scraping option for now followed by a good coating of wax oil. With the intention of doing the proper strip-down job in a couple of years.

Land rover series 3 clutch/gearbox issue.
