    Lightweight Clutch problem

I would renew fluid and then bleed well. If no improvement change clutch plates. My Lightweight was a total pain to find gears and really does need a box overhaul but it is suprisingly robust and with time you learn to beat most defects.

To Para or not to para

Thanks Jon, Most advice seems to suggest that off road there is a vast improvement. Its a toss up at the moment whether to go down the parabolic road or convert(more expensively) to coil sprung suspension. When you say off road are you trialling or laning? Cheers Mark

    Which tyres

Don't bother with BF for MT's. I am sure they are very good but I and many others find remoulds like Black Star or Greenway brilliant tyres for laning. Any MT will be crap on road so why bother spending twice the money when the poor thing will spend its life wallowing off-road!

    power loss problem series 11a

After compression test rules out, it does sound like ignition. Although hard to tell, for cost of new unit I'd shove a new coil in as well as points. My Lwt ran like crap till I stuffed a new everything at it! The advantage of this is you know where you are starting from. I think strength of...

To Para or not to para

Hello my darlin's, Thought I would kick off with this beauty. My 1979 Lwt 2.25 stage 1 is used mostly for laning! Is it worth fitting Parabolics or do I stick with orig.leafs.Also is a de-carbon steering damper worth fitting over original oil type! That should do it!
