Hi, it was making the noise with the plastic cover removed. Checked the guide wheels and they have a bit of side play so going to replace them and the tensioner and try it with new belts. If the crankshaft pulley is gone would you feel play in it with the belts removed or do you have to take it...

No skid plate still on

The tensioner looked a little wobbly running but with the belt off there wasn't really any play in it. All the other pulleys looked smooth including the crankshaft when running with belt on.

Hi,, just had a look with torch. Few specks of dust visible. Take it is early stage of it breaking down and air con and power steering pump are adding more strain on it. Anybody know of a good supplier of pulley. Thanks for the help guys

Also just noticed if turn air con off noise only happens when on full lock.

Hi, just buy chance found if I turn air con off and turn steering wheel, no noise. Air con back on noise returns
