    Range Rover syndrome

It's also what makes my dearly beloved want a 2nd Nissan Cube! If I round mine up to 25 MPG I still feel mischievously bemused by the look of disgust I often get when telling my MPG.

    Reverse sensor module

Hi guys I know this is a really old post but just thought I'd add some closure. This is the advice given to me by an Indy LR specialist. If you're getting no noise from the sensors (not even a quiet clicking noise.) it's a module fault. If you don't have access to LR Diagnostics (which would...

    Range Rover syndrome

Ahhh, yes! I also suffer Range Rover syndrome. I also have others symptoms including NEVER telling the true fuel consumption. And if there are no isolated parking bays, try and park next to the most expensive or highly polished car in the car park!!

Hi pal, I was reading an old post of yours about modding a300tdi. I was just wondering how it worked out, as in dos it bring up any issues ruining 2.6 bar a double head gaskets? Cheers

I'm definately no expert either but was thinking either head gasket or valve stem oil seals. If it the head gasket I'd consider an upgraded or reworked head too. I'll google turner engineering now. Thanks for that Matt

    Battery impact wrench, which one?

Makita lxt 18v with 5.0ah batteries. I use mine daily and it's awesome. It's as powerful as my Clarke air impact wrench at 120psi.

What have you done to your Landie today.

I've been practising bodywork skills, I've rubbed down, filled, rubbed down again and primed my bonnet after it lost an argument with what looked like a weak overhanging branch. Have realised I should either have filled and rubbed down more or left it to a professional!!!!

Hi guys, Just wondering if anyone could recommend someone who's good at rebuilding 300tdi engines. Mines done 160k and has started with white smoke and oil in the exhaust. It's currently parked up. Cheers for your help.

HELP, please. I need info from clever folk on 130 ambulances

Lol i would love a 101, but the cabin and v8 power make for a not so ideal work van!

HELP, please. I need info from clever folk on 130 ambulances

Hi there peeps, Im currently looking to swap my work van for a landy, mainly because i truly love 'my other car'. A landy! I really need to fit 2400mm (8 foot) lengths in it. Im thinking a 130 ex ambulance. My thinking is thus a 110 has a 1900mm loadspace, seeing as the engine bay and cabin...

    Mansfield desert

Ha yeah, to be fair I think I saw one smile once, on tv. He'd just confiscated a car because the recently divorced wife didn't have the correct address for licence and insurance.

    Mansfield desert

If anyone still bothers with the desert. It would appear that it is quite highly patrolled by at least 2 ktm bikes and a highly modded 90. I'm working on a building site which utilises the rainworth bypass entrance. I've been stopped twice going to work due my using a discovery as a work van...

Hazard lights on and no central locking

Its a 1997 discovery 1, 300TDI. Thanks for that peeps I'll try the inertia switch although turning the ignition off doesn't affect it as i had to disconnect the battery to stop it flashing itself into a flat battery induced coma!!!
