ah yes its the one to the vaccum pump that is not connected. where abouts down the battery end does it go. i cannot see any obvious location for it :s thanks

yes the VCU was checked and changed too. The solenoid has two pipes not connected. there is one with a filter on it, but the other one going up toward the engine is loose too. Yes the car does this in neutral too. Have checked the crankcase breathers, and no oil comes up the dipstick. Thanks

HI all, i posted a while back with a problem with a TD4 freelander. The problem still isnt rectified. At about 3000RPM the engine begins to knock and jump, sends shocks through the car that you can feel. The IRD has recently been changed, i suspect a turbo problem but i cannot find the...

HI, this is my first post here. I was wondering if anyone would have any idea why the engine in my freelander may start knocking and jumping at 3000RPM and stop when below or above this. The turbo also does not work. It does have blue smoke coming out of the exhaust when it is at 3000 RPM too...
