Mine never did it before the remapped ecu went in its a manual v reg I assumed it was down to remap ect so interested if there is a solution. Have you tried posting on thed2boysclub? They have some really knowledgable peeps on there (I think most are on here too tho)

Mine does this too but only when I am really giving it some so thought it was how they are?

How would I find out mate? I inherited them as part of a deal on a Landy ages ago.

I am guessing they are best to go on the scrap pile then lol I am open to offers as genuinely no idea of value, if anything.

My d2's first big knock happened down water lane at night. Now every panel has been done just the bonnet and roof remain as the factory intended lol.

Full set of 5 steel modular wheels from a d1 no dings but a bit of rust as the pictures show. I have no idea what to ask for them £100 collected? Make me an offer. I am in newbury area

Lol it had a good go but a couple of days drying out and cleaning of fuse box and bcu ect and all is well 😜 lesson learnt.

My vw camper goes through every mot on pre 73 style plates and its reg 78 I have never had any issues with police either. (Touches wood :p ) A campsite in cornwal used an anpr system to allow people in and out and it never let the camper through so that could be the only issue the plod might have?

When the dmf went on my d2 (2 weeks ago :/ ) it was getting slip in third and forth at about 2k rpm. Was very random to start and only happening on hard throttle ect but then got worse v quickly!

Finally saw this in the flesh at the newbury 4x4 show the other week looks really nice in the metal!! And was handy to use as a guide to where I had parked lol

You need to send the ecu off they will stick a new chip in it to make it flashable :D Search in the d2boysclub forums loads of good advice for sorting your d2
