Thank you for the help, I have had to put the clutch on hold for the time being, It was booked in for the rear wheel arches doing but they have told me it needs to new rear quarter panels, does anybody know we're I would get them from. Please.

I unplugged the MAF as suggested and it seems to have rectified the fault so it would appear that the MAF is faulty. Can you recommend a source for a replacement please. I checked all hoses, removed & cleaned the EGR, I will consider cleaning the intercooler when it warms up a bit as it looks...

Does he have a MAF sensor ? I thought about fitting a used one to eliminate that as a fault.

Thank you for the advice, I had considered that as an option, my usual garage has the kit but I understand that this type of fault wouldn't necessarily show up so it would have been a pointless exercise. Will Leeds do as the centre of Yorkshire ?

I have a '94 Disco 300 tdi with 88k on the clock. When I drive at motorway speeds there is a delay from turning the steering wheel to the wheels actually moving of about 5 degrees. Can anybody advise what could be the cause please.

I want to fit a pair of Cibie Super Oscars to my disco 1 300 tdi but I dont want a bull/A bar, they will not fit on the bumper, assuming it was strong enough and there doesn't seem to be any suitable fixing points from which to secure home made brackets. Can anyone offer a solution please

Hi Sean, I thought that would be the best option, thanks for confirming that, presumably I wont know about the release arm until I have removed the gearbox ? many thanks Martin
