Basically I looked on here for a way to bypass the immobiliser and found a post suggesting cutting the black with orange trace wires on the grey plug on the alarm ecu and joining them together. Apparently this removes the immobiliser function. All it seems to have done is make maters worse. I...

I did that and now nothing works!

Need help guys. 98 disco non spider. Cut and joined the black and orange wires as Landyandy30 said. Now my alarm ecu clicks like he'll and motor won't turn over. Please help!

Hi everyone. Really need some help. 98 disco. Non spider. Used Landyandy30 method with the black and orange wires. Now alarm box goes nuts and motor won't crank. Can I rip all the electronic junk off and revert to old school? Please help as I don't have much hair to rip out !
