Hello,
I have a '96 300 series 3.9 V8i Discovery
It's got; 32x12.50R15 Mud Terrains, and a 2 inch lift. No guard trimming yet, but that's coming very soon.
Trying to get some inspiration on what to do next, what have other people done? or planning on?

Thanks

okay so thanks for that
BUT!
It has now created a clack sometimes from underneath..... i think it has something to do with the clutch but im not sure....

Drive it maybe?

Learn off road techniques, then be able to critique your own vehicle and know where it performs well or badly.

Probably junk the 2" lift or at least do it properly. ;)

EDIT:

Good tyres for the terrain/use are always sensible.

Under body protection can be handy, steering guard, or sill bars/rock sliders. Raised axle breathers if you plan lot of deep water use.

Depends what you'll be doing with it really though.

LSD or locking diffs might be handy, but only if you'll be on terrain that'll demand them.

As 300bph has said, it depends on what you want to do with it.

Sensible mods are rarely noticed, such as extended breathers, underbody protection, etc.

"Tongue in cheek" .......
Poseur mods are the ones which most often seen but generally don't do much for the operation of the vehicle in adverse conditions, here you can include such useful items as the Tesco carpark snorkel, the pretty little winch with built in pressure washer, the over the winscreen light bar with the badly aligned LED spot lights (AKA "flash" lights). Then there's always the bush wires, they're good for all sorts of things, and don't forget the oversized super nobbly monster truck tyres that ruin the (already crap) turning circle, not forgetting the HID headlight conversion, you can have loads of fun with that. Regarding the 2" lift, why not increase it to a full 4" and really screw up the handling? :D;)
