    Full canvas hood on 107"

My mistake. Of course it was a series 2. But whats the difference between 1 and 2 hoodwise? The sides are probably longer but is the length the same, or? Rupert does seem to live in another climate than The swedish. The text in a similiar swedish magazine would be ”Magnus made the top removable...

Thank you...

Allright. It seems reasonable. The old v5c also says its a series 1. Its not the first time I have come across oddities with old british cars. .

Series 1 Series 1 look with series 2 chassinumber?! Help please

Ok. I have googled lots of pics and found some said-to-be s1 with the same clocks. Are you sure? The vent flaps look like S1 to me? . Is it possible to take a S2 landy with s2 bulkhead and use all the body from a S1? wings. bonnet, window etc? I understand its possible but will everything fit...

It is registered as a 1959 "Land Rover 88 series 1" here in Sweden (as you can see its a UK import), as far as I can see the looks are all s1 but if I decode the chassinumber its got to be a series 2.
