Thanks for all your replies... yep it's done a few miles (122k). The front driveshafts have already been replaced so I am confident that those are OK. I hadn't really thought about a misfire but I guess it's possible. I will take a look into that. Mark.

Managed to do it... Had to remove bolt from LH mount and move engine over enough to get the bolt out. Mark.

So I was right.... The bolt through the tie bar hits the engine :confused: Any ideas? Mark.

Has anyone replaced the upper RH engine mount on their TD4? I haven't started the job yet but I don't think there is enough clearance to remove the bolt that goes through the tie-bar. It looks like it will hit the engine before it clears the tie-bar so I am not sure how it comes out. If...
