Are you talking about an a-frame or a tow dolly, as long as all 4 wheels are on the ground you can tow it, if you were to have 2 wheels off the ground on a tow dolly or similar then you would need to remove a prop or shafts so your not winding the Diffs.

It could be, Both that iv changed were on BMW's, 1 pressed steel and 1 cast the cast one only had a small crack. The pressed steel one had multiple cracks. It may not be an issue on range rovers but its still worth checking.
-
If its the same engine I'm thinking if then yes. It's a common problem in bmw's but I think its more common with the pressed steel manifolds over the cast ones.
-
I'm sure they're was a problem with some manifolds cracking so I'd be checking it.

Not too bad. It's bolted to the engine block near the bulkhead on the drivers side. Easy way to tell if its working is to open the bleed screw on the fuel filter housing then there should be a manual lever on the side of the lift pump. If you start operating it the fuel should start pouring out...
-
You might have a knackered lift pump, the more fuel in the tank the easier it is for the injection pump to draw if the lift pump has failed.

On snapped calliper bleed nipples I hammer a torx bit into the hole in the centre then just wind it out. Sometimes need to drill the hole out a little but it will normally go. The same principal should work on this.

No problem, I'm not fussed about getting it next day or anything so hopefully there will be a slightly cheaper postal option. What weight do you think it is ? 15kg ish.
