I also had major service and mot at time of boot being fitted, would have thought brakes would have been picked up then.

Unfortunately I can't recall. My felling is that the judder is a coincidence and the brakes need sorting. There are no other symptoms of failing cv such as clicking when turning. Maybe a badly fitted boot and the clip wasn't tightened correctly.

I had the front offside CV boot and track rod end changed on my Range Rover due to what I believed was a failed CV boot (grease everywhere inside wheel arch) 2 months ago. I checked it a few weeks later and noticed some grease coming from under the small O ring. Phoned garage and took it back...
