Haha that would be fantastic! Well I’ve ordered a new Diag which comes Monday then I’ll start tackling these bits and bobs in the hopes to get it back on the road :) … I’m glad it’s not that bad regarding suspension haha… let’s see 🤞🤞
Yes, the P38 requires a valid FOB code to start. No FOB code and you have to enter the EKA code via the door lock a real PITA. That is why I run mine with the Immobiliser and EKA set to off, you can then open and start the car with just the key...
As long as your EKA works, cos you can’t re sync in the lock/ignition.
I have often found even though it says low it still work, often disappears too 🤔.

If the immobiliser and EKA are not turned off in the BECM, you will have to enter the EKA code to start it. With immobiliser and EKA set to on, the BECM requires a valid FOB code to allow the engine to start.
Right. I just went ahead & did it; 90NM for the threaded inspection bung, 25NM for the inspection bolt & 45NM for the delivery value holders. All went well.
FYI: I didn't torque it up like this. I had the steel end nipped up in the vice not the...
LEDs are often directional, the cheap kits are usually garbage. Please, PLEASE don't change it to blue, it'll look sh*te!
I'd stick with the proper bulbs, they go black over time anyway and with a fresh set of bulbs you'll probably be...
Replacing the motor didn't fix it, can't clear the pot fault so I unsoldered the pot off the blend motor kermie gave me and swopped that out with the newish pot fitted last year? Cant check them as my dvm has died, and that seems to have fixed it...
Suspension will be the easy bit. Don't know why but I really like resolving suspension issues on these things...? Probably because so many people are so terrified of it and in reality, it's just not that bad at all.
I wish I had the time to...
Hello all, it’s a big day… please see the video attached, a friend of mine, a Land Rover fanatic came along, with the car having sat for so long he said, ok, first things first, let’s drain the fuel and get some fresh stuff in there… so , we did...
I've tested one of the motors you gave me with a 9v battery, spins nice and quiet, just tested the one on the car and it spins fine but is noticeably noiser. So I've just soldered your motor to my board.
There isn't enough room to work on the...
Leaking air spring for the win; it will effectively balance the pressure across the front so both sides will drop over night. They crack quite badly over time and when you lift them or do work on them it's usually the nail in the coffin (ask me...
I'd have to check RAVE next time I have the laptop running but it is less than you think. 90 nm sounds way too much. 25 nm sounds more likely.
The high pressure pipes just need nipping up so they don't leak. Finger tips tight using a 17 mm...
