Ok, so after charging the battery and putting it back in it fired up. I've left it for an hour and the battery is now at 60% and won't crank. When i put the key back to stage I there was a humming sound coming from the rear, dos anyone know what this could be? Thanks

I had read to try starting in both park and neutral, but didn’t shake it as such, just moved between N and P. Once I’ve put the battery back in I can try shaking it. Thanks.

HI, I took it out and plugged it into a battery tester/charger Unit and it said it was ok. I did try jumping the car first via my friends car but that had no effect, so I took it out to test it. It’s currently back on charge in case I drained it with all my attempts.
