Thank you for your help, the oil is red so it must be the seal, I'll attempt to do this job myself, its about the only job I haven't done on my P38. I'll keep you all posted on my progress. Any tips would be appreciated

Yes it's from the bottom of the bell housing joint to the engine, a small rectangular hole at the join. It pours out when the engine has run for a short time

Please help, my 1999 P38A 4.6 auto is pouring transmission fluid out of the bottom front end of the auto box,where the torque converter bell housing is. The car has drive etc. but loses drive when trans fluid level pours away,top up again & drive returns, what's causing this to happen no warning...
