I know it's been a while since you posted in this thread but do I need an inpa k-dcan cable ? For it to work on the l322.

I've ordered a new serial adaptor A dedicated FTDI with the driver on a disk , so if this doesn't work then Ive got issues with the car.

it's an old car , the old software an laptops just seem to work better.
I presume that laptop would have a dedicated coms port ?

It's still not having it, I've decided to order a proper FTDI usb adaptor with FTDI driver on a disk.
I swapped my usb adaptor to a prolific one and got a string of 28s and 80s rather than the pp. So I believe it to be the adapter.

I cannot for the life of Me , delete the driver , everything I've done it just bounces back auto update is turned off so I'm not entirely sure what I've done wrong.
Sorry to be a pain , but could someone give me a dummy's guide to deleting the drivers.
Thanks

I uninstalled the driver and the ports section completely disappeared. Restarted the computer and still gone.

Cleaned the OBD2 port , there is some greening on the face of it and the entrance metal is also green.
Still getting the same fault. I have tried multiple ports on my laptop makes no difference. Not sure what else to try

I updated the driver using the hardware updater, and Installed FDTI. I do have the correct driver software on my desktop , I click set up go throught it and nothing happens
