My P38 is the Thor engine so I imagen a discovery 2 box could fit? And no I don't have a nano com just a icarsoft cr max Nano com is just slightly above what I can afford.

I just prefer manuals and wanted to know wether it's something an amateur could do themselves.

Sadly I never got to find out , my discovery 3 engine went bang before I could do the swap.

My heater matrix on my P38 is currently leaking from the o rings after we changed the radiators. Is it an easy fix ?

Yes I don't think I would cope with worsened steering 😂 it already has the turning circle of a limo .

Id imagine if I go for narrow tires but taller they should weigh the same if not slightly more , either way I'm more than willing to trial this. I use this car daily so for me every mpg matters.

They will give extra 1-2 mpg , the taller the better for fuel as it takes less energy to cover same distance, it's nothing to run ragged about but when the tires need changing Its worth it for me to swap over.

Yes , my goal is focused more towards comfort/fuel economy than the typical off-road car so the altered Speedo wouldn't be too much of an issue.

Never thought about that , are speedometer calibrations possible on the P38?

Good to know , being brand new to the P38 there is a lot to learn.

Hello all Just wondering wether anyone has experience in fitting tall tires to a standard P38 , I found some I liked however the sizes were 235, 85, r16 , are these to tall and going to rub? Cheers 👍

If I ever get round to doing this upgrade and if I remember ofcourse il report back. I'm unfamiliar with the word plenum? Is that the plastic panel under the outside of my windscreen?

That should be easy enough, do you know where the wiring would be for the screen? Same place as the discovery 2?

Yes there are two spaces to fit the relays in the fuse box It's a 1999 4.0 And no button on the HVAC

Hello all I'm looking into upgrades for my new P38, and was wondering if it's possible to fit the heated front screen to a non heated like we did in our old discovery 2. I've checked the fuse box in the engine bay and both relays are missing...

Very informative, we have replaced the air compressor, and I plugged in my own diagnostic scanner and found pressure static when filling , would this indicate an air tank leak ? I did have a pre charge pump fault code but the brakes work fine.

Yes it seems to happen to them all , the mother board looks in very good condition however I believe I'm going to have to replace it.

I feel privileged, in my P38 4.0 I'm averaging 18 around town and 24 mpg on a run.
