I know it's been a while since you posted in this thread but do I need an inpa k-dcan cable ? For it to work on the l322.
  • L
Yes almost instantly I get good idle, I am able to raise and lower the car.
  • L
    Nightmare, atleast I'm getting somewhere.

I've ordered a new serial adaptor A dedicated FTDI with the driver on a disk , so if this doesn't work then Ive got issues with the car.
  • L
it's an old car , the old software an laptops just seem to work better. I presume that laptop would have a dedicated coms port ?
  • L
    I checked it's windows 11

It's still not having it, I've decided to order a proper FTDI usb adaptor with FTDI driver on a disk. I swapped my usb adaptor to a prolific one and got a string of 28s and 80s rather than the pp. So I believe it to be the adapter.

I cannot for the life of Me , delete the driver , everything I've done it just bounces back auto update is turned off so I'm not entirely sure what I've done wrong. Sorry to be a pain , but could someone give me a dummy's guide to deleting the...

Right I understand, hopefully this works. The cable was an eBay cable with adaptor £17 or so came with a free dvd copy of rave which is a bonus.

I uninstalled the driver and the ports section completely disappeared. Restarted the computer and still gone.

Cleaned the OBD2 port , there is some greening on the face of it and the entrance metal is also green. Still getting the same fault. I have tried multiple ports on my laptop makes no difference. Not sure what else to try

I updated the driver using the hardware updater, and Installed FDTI. I do have the correct driver software on my desktop , I click set up go throught it and nothing happens

Laptop is brand new and I believe it's windows 10 , the cable I bought online and received it yesterday. I did have issues changing the drivers and I'm not entirely sure I have done it correctly. If there is corrosion in the obd port , how do...

    Do as you must 🥲

Will definitely check that once we have the engine back together. Can the valve block/ change over be tested with soapy water or is that a non serviceable item and has to be replaced? Cheers 👍

Compressor is new so I doubt it but obviously possible. Thank you for the pdf

Hello everyone Would anyone know the locations of the valve blocks? I believe the front one is behind the driver side wheel arch liner. Is there a rear one ? Our l322 is still displaying air suspension inactive , it's had new rear bags but...

When I took the diaphragm end off the disk style seal had torn and nearly all the o rings were flat. The only issue I have now is when I leave the car and pull the relay out it airs down over the course of a few hours/overnight , so I do...

Hi mate I'd just like to thank you, I've rebuilt the valve block and after some fiddling around with a split compressor pipe it air up extremely quick . Cheers 👍👍

They were supposed to be a reputable land rover specialist , I took my discovery 3 there a few times. They said the P38 is a specialty of it's own and neither of them had any experience of them. Threw a big spanner in the works as I would like...

There's enough guides and YouTube videos I should be fine, and t I be honest this forum has helped me more than anything. Better than my local landy specialist who refused to work on my car , due to " no experience with p38s"

Ah , that makes sense , hopefully I can get this running. I don't want to have to switch to coils.
