so just get the rear brake discs done there and leave the fronts till next wek and have them done cheaper elsewhere... possibly a good idea to have dealer set up the rear brake shoes, know i no other ppl may disagree, but here why. when setting up shoes its best to put the EPB in mount...

if you dont want to spend ya money, and dont mind peeing the wife off lol all u have to do is file the handle down on one of ya tea spoon handles dun worry about the cut out shape of the right tool , u just need something thats flat and will fit in the hole :)

ahhhhh yes i see your predicament.

well i can change an injector in probs 45 mins easy,,, 20 mins if its injector number 1( no need to remove inlet manifold for injector 1). so i would say if its not faulty dont change it ,,, especially as there are 4 of them. if it costs 150 for injector and 100 to have it replaced y pay 800...

tiny flat blade screw driver will pull the switch out of console , swap it with the other switch to see if it works or not. thats 1st thing to do :)

the freelander 2 is an awsome motor and u will not be dissapointed, the heater recall is to just remove a fuse from the engine box fuse board. as with all cars u might experience problems but the F2 seems to have no major ongoing issues,, u see the odd radio fault, or other niggly elec...

lmao, nice thread,, just to put my 10p worth in lol. regarding pre 2000 model just try starting the engine with out the fob next to the barrel (take it off the key) once its mobilised u will see it wont start, and yes 2000 model year on u dont need the fob, key only is req

lol, i seee ur still slaggin dealers off lol, we would do a leak bac test a change the relevent faulty injector ,,,,, but yes if u can start on easy start spray, and then it runs ok , then defo an injector. due to the injector leaking back you just lose the suffecient pressure needed to...

not to state the obvious but maybe the fob battery is low? when you open vehicle do you get a beeping noise from instrument pack? regarding immobilisation, u could posssibly have the market setings changed to a market that not set for immob :P

could be two things 1. low fuel pressure from faulty fuel pump, or low pressure caused by an injector leaking back fuel,

hi. if you look in the left hand rear boot compartment where your audio modules are fitted. remove and check the connectors to all the modules, you will find you have possible corrosion in the connectors. the radio module is the hardest to get at due to it half way under a boot trim.
