I think the series colour was marine blue but windjammer sounds pretty groovy.

Yeah I like those. Think it’s called windjammer - suits a defender so well. And arran beige which you never see!!!

Keep your chin up Steve - progress is progress 😎 Deep bronze green?

I was hoping to get the vinyl off the dash padding but still be able to use the padding again. I knew it was damaged but I wanted to try to repair it. These pictures actually make it look a lot better than it is especially round that bit with...

Hello. Glacial progress continues. Might as well show you what little there is. Primer went on with brush and roller. So did the top coat. The finish is ok. I know a lot of people get fantastic results with brush and roller but I don't. To...

A bloody fiddly job. Angles, twists and tiny pieces. You can see that the crossmember is supposed to be sandwiched between inner and outer skin. I wonder how many actually do this as you have to chop off a bit more than you’d want to. My pencil...

Don’t know if of interest or not, but people may find use in the routine I use for areas like chassis where rust is present but not terminal. Step one - Clean with degreaser. I use screwfix no nonsense. It’s excellent and doesn’t burn through...
