Yes apparently it's been in a Honda collection. lt's not restored, it's all original. You wouldn't get the Honda genuine exhaust pipes now anyway and they look brand new.
Exactly.
New chassis fitted  ...... probably not or that would've been highlighted as a selling point!
It could be a right can of worms and only fit for parts, best off leaving it where it was.
l had my 2022 Defender serviced and the indicator initially showed that the next service was due in 21,000 miles (although l would never leave it that long)
Within a couple of weeks of town driving and short journeys it had dropped to 17,000.
Two years ago? How many mile has the vehicle done now. What was the state of the air filter they took out at the recent service?
Did you check the vehicle after the 30,000 mile service? Had the oil been changed. (so did they do anything at all...
Hi,
Please be aware of the above scam which was attempted on me 2 days ago during the sale of my LHD Freelander 2.
Two guys turn up to view - said they were from Cyprus but their car had Romanian plates. They had an F2 which was a write off due...
Honda 125 Twin 1977
This has been in a collection for decades and has never been on the road in that time.
The speedo is showing less than 100 miles. It is in amazing condition and surely the best available.
It's had an MOT although it's...
l've never heard of this issue over on the other forum for these vehicles, so l would say the chances of it happening again are almost zero.

Some oils are designed for such a replacement interval (long life) thanks to the high-quality base and additives, but I prefer to follow a simple rule for diesel engines - one liter of oil in the engine works for 1000 kilometers. If 7 liters of...
"On the subject of the thread, def a pretender. I am, of course, delighted to be lent one to test it properly here in Kenya!"
lf l was going to Kenya l would definitely take an old model Defender, they just seem to belong there.
The new one...
Surprised at the lack of interest. l would have thought a supply of brand new off-road wheels and tyres at bargain prices would have had Discovery 2 owners queuing up.
Looks like you did well to move that one on. Mine's been faultless in 18,000 miles.
The Navara won't give you any trouble. They're built to last, like the Hilux.
According to this month's Land Rover Monthly magazine, the 18" steel wheels from the new Defender will fit straight on to Discovery 2 axles.
This could be good, as these wheels are being offered on Ebay at £5-600 for five, brand new take-off...
These are from my Defender L663 Commercial and have done around 100 miles.
They will apparently fit STRAIGHT ON A DISCOVERY 2 AXLE....see this month's LRO magazine for confirmation.
Brand new 18" steel wheels with new Michelin tyres and centre...
