Good afternoon all. I have been looking online at what's best to seal a transfer box and it seems a bit grey. Some suggest using 'paper' gaskets, some suggest paper gaskets and silicone, others just say silicone... I have two different LT230s...

If you buy it new from the online shop, it comes with the unlock codes and the cables you need

The nanocom is the game between models but you buy different unlock codes. You can buy a second hand one, transfer ownership then buy the codes you need from the online store. You also need to make sure you have the right colour cable for your car

So in essence, you buy a nanocom then buy the codes for specific vehicles? for instance I'd need to purchase a Discovery 2 TD5 pack? Would that include full access coding? Thanks Kermit

Take the round back plate off(by the handbrake) remove the gear. As splines may be worn & holding it on… Or some one has put a nut on the end of the shaft for fun

Or welded it!
