Thanks for that. So I should be able to take the earlier ring and pulley off no problem and replace them with the later with out any issue?
Can absolutely see why they changed that design. Can’t rely on friction alone .

There seems to be two variants of pulley and crank sensor timing ring for the same crank shaft.
Just hitting out to see if any ones come across this and just plain swapped both out for the two different ones with out any issue before I fork out on one and a new crank bolt and a new world...

Crank seal went , oil over fecking everything .
Crank pulley also had a mad wobble
The timing tensioner had also slipped.
got everything off and cleaned and new parts...
