Sorted. Pulled headlining down and located a black box in front of rear sunroof, pulled plug off and it had green corrosion on it, cleaned it off and squirted electrical cleaner in it and on the plug, refitted it pressed the key and hey presto opens locks and even starts. Thanks for input guys.

Cool thanks I'll pull the head lining down tomorrow and see if I can see anything obvious.

The batteries are fine in both the keys and are transmitting I've had them checked its like whatever picks up the signal isn't responding. The little card in the wallet has 2 sets of numbers but when I enter either one with the key it only bleeps once indicating the wrong code. What is it...

Just had the td5 for its mot failed so did work took it back all ok next day went to get in it and nothing opened door manually and alarms going off its head. Tried the key procedure in the door but iam getting nowhere. Can this be bypassed. The neighbours aren't best pleased with it going off...

Removed from a td5 an abs unit. The was no faults with this when it was removed and kept. The common faults with these are they put the abs light on and it comes up and says shuttle valves sticking when it's plugged into the diagnostics

Ive got a heated screen removed from a td5 I broke last year. £50 collection only. Got the side trims to go with it too

As title discovery 2 heated front screen removed from a td5 I broke. Not sure what it's worth but £80 will do. Sure they're worth more sure the side trims are there too.

Sounds like it needs the injector harness replacing.

Are you leaving it to completely Finnish it's bleeding cycle? (ignition on press throttle five times) It feels like an age when it's doing it but won't start until its completely finished it

You could always do away with them and put springs in instead.

Hi guys I've been thinking about selling my td5 and getting a discovery 3. What do yous think? Is there anything I should be aware of with them? My td5 has caused me very little problem over the past 3 years I've owned it so iam a bit dubious but not wanting to start spending money on it.
