there are certain insurance companies (landy specific ones) that will cover you for greenlane/off road recovery i know someone that had to get recovered from wales to bucks after having problems out greenlaning.

yeah the one on ashridge i heard it was controlled letting you in and you had to be buzzed on and there were reg plate recognition cameras that took a photo of your plate so they could keep a idea of who was going on the byway. ill keep looking and digging

Hi, welcome to the forum!! when was the headgasket last done?? it may possibly just be a dodgy thermostat so try replacing that first (cheaper)

always perform the weekly checks, oil, water, wheel nuts,

only need two more 235/85/16 and you have a full set lol

cambelt change around every 60,000 or so
