Thanks for advice, The towbar ones I cant have as I will be towing a caravan as well.The ones that fit onto the wheel may be an option Cheers Or I may go full hog and get a full roof rack, bikes will be a little hight though, no low bridges :eek:

Update, Took Disco back to garage,As when I drove about 50 miles up the road the leeks started again,all over the wheel. Anyway one of the lads at the garage steam washed the wheel then told me there was no leeks. Dont know what they did as I left it there for a couple of hour, plus the grinding...

I think the garage would of noticed if Cv's where knacked or problem with steering stops. I think when garage has replaced seals they have tightened the bearings back up and have broke the bearings. so to speek. looks like all to be done again with new bearings this time as well, on top of the...

1996 300tdi, Theres no noise at all till I put full right hand steering lock on then its grinding. Are you saying when they have tightened back up after replacing seals its broken ??? Thanks

Took My Discovery down to local garage, as I had oil leek on my nearside wheel, Went down to garage to collect my disco and Garage said 3 seals and 2 gaskets,problem sorted.But NO..Now on full steering lock right hand down there is a very bad Grinding noise coming from that side of the wheel...

Hi, my Disco 300tdi 96 reg, the problem im having is that after traveling a few miles my engine cuts out and stops, but if I wait a couple of mins it starts again fine. Im thinking fuel problem, maybe muck getting to injectors ??? anyone give me a bit of advice please and maybe cost to put right...
