Thanks everyone. Looks like I will have to take them off and file them as well. If it wasn't for the aftermarket turrets I don't think there would be an issue.

Hey folks
Fitted some new front procomp shocks today. Noticed after a quick test drive one had a slight scrape on it and both sit very close to the front edge of the turret. The scrape seems to be where one of the tubular bits is welded to the ring where you bolt to chassis. I have standard...

Thats a strange looking rubber. Mine will be different as my pipe exits a lot higher up the bottom of the pipe is about 2 inch higher than the top of your chequer plate. If you type exhaust rubber into ebay there is one that could be similar with an I/D of 52mm

Not sure what mine is like. It's in for MOT Today I'll take a look and pic if any use. I'm sure mine is a fairly standard rubber but not 100%

Hi Guys.
I know this has been asked before but from searching there seems to be conflicting information.
I have a stand height defender. No immediate plans for lifting. Currently running standard alloys + spacers and 265/75/16 tyres.

Found the problem with brake servo. Slight crack in it. Trying to decide whether to take to garage or not. Are they hard to fit? Do you need to disconnect the brake lines. If so I can't be bothered!
Thanks guys

I should point out the hissing was only noticeable when he poured water on it. Like it would sound if it was hot, but it wasn't it really looked like the air was coming out to me but I may be wrong.

I have an air leak from my servo, the brakes have always been pants so its probably always done it. The mechanic noticed it the other day I had it in for a brake pipe replacing and when he gave it a swill down at the end of the day to ensure there was no brake fluid left on bulk...

Oh and another thing the plastic bushing in the centre pivot is two piece I couldnt get the outside most one to go back in cos it was a bit chewed up, I just replaced it with a stainless 8mm washer seems OK. If I have any future trouble I may replace the whole thing with a bolt as the clip on...

Easiest way is to jack up the back end so the wheels are free to turn (hand brake off) put it in gear and carefully let the clutch go a little if the diff lock is not engaged the rear wheels will spin. If it is engaged the rear wheels will try to turn an inch or so and then the front wheels will...

As title had the landy in bits today to sort out the diff lock on my 300, the light was coming on but under strain it was bouncing out.
Why do the make everything such a ball ache to get to, they fit a ****ty linkage then hide it under that transmission tunnel which is a pain in the ass to...
