There's a famous country pile called Stanford,
That's noted for fresh air and fun,
LakesRob and his 110woman
Went there with young Gabriel their son.
They didn't think much of the guest list,
T'was looking quite fiddly and small,

I think my balls have seen better days!
However, rubbed down the front axle and gave it a coat of buzzweld - rust control primer and chassis in one top coat.

Nearly run out of things to take off now! Rubbed down and primed half the chassis. Getting new dumb irons fitted tomorrow and then I'll do the other half of the chassis.

Diffs out today. Just wondering where I get the replacement foamy brown stuff for the front diff and the green sludge for the rear diff!

-
It was good to meet you and see so many other new and old friends!

I was thinking of sending my 2a bulkhead to Ashtree but this is the second thread I've seen (the other was on a Facebook group) that's put me off. The other place I was considering is Land Rover Refurb in Yorkshire. Does anyone have any experience of them or anyone else - before I part with...

Only managed 3 hours today - but just got master cylinders, steering and windscreen to take off and then the bulkhead can come off!
The drivers side is as bad as the passenger side so, since we've taken it this far, a new bulkhead it is then!
-
Managed a few more jobs today. Near side wing off to see the state of the bulkhead. Thinking it might be better in the long run to just replace the whole bulkhead rather than repairing both sides! Engine out as well and removed all the wiring. The inside of the bell housing is fairly filthy...
