Have had one of each! A secondhand one... A brand new one... OEM part....
Next to try, is a replacement ECU.
I can't think of much else to replace...
-
Thanks. Checked all fuses. They're fine
-
Thanks a lot.
Ironically, the MIL doesn't illuminate (except with the ignition).
Have tried 3 different sensors. Could they all be faulty!?

Hiya guys, not posted for a while...
Making good use of lockdown...
Hope you are too...
I have a faulty cam sensor problem that's doing my head in!
Typical symptoms: starts from cold ok, though tickover a little erratic... Performance is obviously a little sluggish... Doesn't like to restart...

-
Oh dear. I'm sure you're all horrified to hear that all I did was tighten the 2 nuts. Seems to run fine!
Not good?

Thanks so much for the offer - welcome to drop by anyway, but. ...
Guess what..? Range rover hunting/idle problem cured: both injector pump mounting bolts were loose!!! Yippee :D
-
When you say ' playing with the top of the FIP' - in what way? And in any case, it's only me that's had for the past 6 months.
-
Air con belt has already been removed.
As for the mil flashing when coming off the accelerator - same. No sign of stalling though...

Upon start up, will try to settle down to 750rpm, but then dips down to about 600rpm, then back up to 750 and down again. ...
