Spoke to the seller who confirmed when we viewed the vehicle he had the 20” on the car with the 5th 19” in the carrier
When we confirmed purchase he removed the 19” from underneath and 20” in the boot so no he never placed it there

Found another issue with D4 - the vehicle came with 20” wheels and when purchased the spare was in the boot space seller said he had repair done and had not got round to putting in back in the carrier

Afternoon All
Just wanted to share findings on the Discovery 4 drivers side flooded footwell
Tried all non intrusive remedies to no avail and resulted in stripping interior trim off to trace pipe
Found source of leak as split elbow at end of drain pipe where it pushes through the bulkhead

Have recently purchased a D4 that needs a few bits and pieces done but yesterday failed the MOT on rear brake pads
The Main Dealer stated that due to having to be prepared electronically pads changed and then reset electronically the sum £325 could be expected

The injector body had not been machined correctly so there was no rebate for the o ring seal
It had just been pushed in the head and bolted up

Finally got to the cause of the issue - should have started with what you suggested first time the injectors!
Carried out leak test and all were found to be equal with no variance
Changed LP pump/filter and air flow meter ran the car perfect
A few days later on a longish journey...

Is it possible that the relay could be breaking down or the EDC supply signal?
Also following your suggestion would the pump operate via normal key operation
Have you come across this fault mode before?

Could one of the injectors be failing intermittently as when the car came back started perfectly drove to the garage for diagnostics and back again no problem
It does short/medium journeys no problem but appears to struggle around the 70 to 80 mile range...
