slight delay with progress this week due to a stinking cold … but Im back on track . Chassis is now finished and parked up outside out of the way. Hub assemblies all cleaned up rust converted and trailing arms etc free of very stubborn bushes...

Got couple hours in. A welding story board. Bit of tweaking and messing about but I’m happy. Z piece ready to be melted on now.

As an occasional drive, I really wouldn’t worry about fuel costs. You’ll still get low to mid 20’s MPG. Use premium petrol too, not the cheap variety. It’s a very nice engine.

I've read they're nice runners and a bit more refined than say a 12J diesel, but I fear for my wallet in fuel costs! Although it's not going to be a daily so hopefully its not too painful
