Finished fixing dash at lunch. You can see it’s just started to curl. The repair kit is on it’s way and will be much easier without the dash in the car!
The approach angle of the drive meant there was an interference fit between roof and garage door.
I wonder if this is a bad omen? Does the landy really want to be restored? And if not will it fight me every step?
Letting the rear tyres down...
Carpeted and fitted the seat box protectors today. Makes a huge difference to the look in the cabin, really happy with the outcome. Just need to wash the rubber mats.
I can’t recommend anyone local to you but it might be worth contacting your local Landy club. They will likely have a suggestion or two of local specialists.
Hi and welcome from Stroud!
There have been quite a few defender thefts in the Cotswolds recently so make sure you invest in lots of security measures. Otherwise, enjoy!
Got the 90 back after having the injector pump repaired. It was sent to a local specialist who said it didn’t need rebuilding but the leak was fixed so I’m happy.
Britpart roof rails and Vickywood awning all go today. The Vickywood stuff is seriously great quality I have to say. Going to get a 190 mighty oak roof tent for the summer for some camping fun with the little one.
Next thing is to get another...
Finally got the fuel tank to part company with the defender ;).
Now I can confirm what pump I need and also have to deal with 6 out of 8 bolts that had their necks rung:oops:.
Good job it runs LPG so I have time:).
Probably a good time to clean...
