Got it last night. Have a big laundry list of things to get working on but I love this thing. To put it in perspective... I have a 700hp 911 turbo in the garage and this truck is without a doubt my favorite of the two. I'll make a new thread and update how I get on with it.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, a 1986 Defender 110 pickup. I've seen how to decode the vins, and I know where all the numbers to find are on the truck... my question is should the serial number on the transmission and engine be the actual VIN number of the chassis? Thanks. -Mag

Hi Guys. Trying to import a D110 pickup and had a question about the serial numbers that are supposed to be original to the truck. Will they just be the same VIN as on the chassis? Or is it a different number that I'll have to contact Land Rover to figure out what they are supposed to be...
