i have some hella spot lights and I need some new bulbs. They are the H2 variety and i can get 55w or 100w normal bulbs or the new fangled ultra white xenon gas jobbies that have the modern blue tint( according to the blurb) in 55w but are so say brighter! Anyone had experience of any of these...

bit new to the mekanics of lr axles and was wondering.. Does the oil or grease in the swivel also lubricate the wheel bearings or are they separated? cheers Al

I have an isolator in the cab which kills everything, unless the engine is allready running!! I also have a winch isolator which just sticks out of the front grill. i was told it was a legal rquirement to have the winch isolated when on the highway.

Range rovers have 100 or 120 amp versions, many listed on ebay. You will have to change the hand as it is mounted the other side of the engine, which is only undoing the long bolts and twisting the ends, no need to dismantle. Al

Why illegal? Fog lights have a height restriction but not driving lights, that comes from this months muddy landy mag. Could be wrong but the amount of trucks, lorries, 4x4s etc that are driving around with them on i would be surprised. Al

probably even more reason to coat with copperslip!! st/st picks up on itself very easy so it is best to lubricate, I never bolt anything to my truck without it.. Al

A friend has opened a new off road site in Coaley Gloucestershire. It is a technical site rather than extreme so it should be ok for normally tarmac bound vehicles. There 2 stream crosses and a mud pit for those that wish dirtyness, the rest in smaller dugouts and a lot of trees as it is based...

hehe, had to try it, got a tyre that just wont seat. Small amount of gas, match from afar and woomph.... not enough, ok try again with a bit more gas.. WOOOOOMPH!!!! blew it off the rim LOL This is a trick that takes practice, glad it wasn't a big tyre. Al
