both batteries were checked before installation by local garage (I witnessed the results) both read 12.9v before being fitted...I’m confident the battery is ok.

thanks again, this is a replacement battery as there were doubts about the previous one which ended up the same way! is there something in the alternator that’s restricting the charging level to the battery... maybe a fault diode? thank you

thanks for reply. No light on dash. Alternator charging at 14.7 to 14.9 but battery not charging above 12.3V even after two hour drive...battery is two weeks old

Hi, 2008 L322 TDV8, alternator will not charge new battery beyond 12.3V and I’m experiencing battery drain of 0.1 to 0.3V overnight. Is a new alternator required? Thanks

Thanks for the replies..appreciated..myfirstl322, yes the Overfinch sills prevent the fitting of side steps. Conclusion to all this: she’ll just need to get on with it! :D

Ok, sorry, myfi2rstl322 got it - my wife is 5ft exactly and doesn’t think she will be able to get in an L322 without sidesteps - I’ve got an X5 that measures 32 inches from ground to passenger seat base - she can get in the X5 ok and I’m hoping the L322 is a similar height.....that’s it! Any...

Does anybody know if the side skirt fitted to this 2010 Overfinch is bonded to the original sill or is it held in place with clips? Thanks!

Could some kind person with an L332 please measure the height from the ground to the highest point on the passenger seat at its lowest setting while the suspension has been lowered to access height? I’ll explain why if I get replies! Many thanks!

Condsidering a 2010 3.6 tdv8 with Overfinch conversion, 63000 miles, full history.....has the digital dash, dual view front screen etc. Any nightmares to worry about with this model/year? Thanks in advance.....
