Hi all, Purchased my Freelander in December on private sale, had couple of problems but very pleased. Noticed on Friday that clutch seemed to be slipping when in 4th or 5th gear. Seemed very strange that when you were normal driving and came to an incline on tarmac gave it some throttle revs...

Had Freelander checked ovr today by independant Land rover specialists. Appears it was a low voltage fault probably caused by dampness. Done 600 miles since and no problems.Have coated all connections with dampstart spray.:)

Was taking wife out in recently purchased 02 TD4 and light came on and lost power. Would only rev at tick over. RAC recovered us back to home. Went back to Freelander 5 hours later all faults cleared. Did change crankcase filter on Tuesday. Also was a very wet day, driving through deep puddles...
