Got a 3.9 v8 which I use just for off road. I have stripped a lot of the unnecessary wires and would like to omit the lambdas if possible. Any thoughts on this?

Trying to fit an unknown 200tdi engine in to a series 3 and would like to know where the turbo takes its oil feed from. Also I am guessing the return goes to the plug which is next to the dipstick. I think this motor may have been run as a 200di maybe as the 2 pipes seem to be absent. Kev

Went to start my 3.9 V8 special and no joy. I had power to both sides of coil but no spark. Fuel is OK. I have been told to check airgap in dizzy. ( would this start and then refuse a day later) I have also been told to check the amplifier which on this model of engine is mounted on the coil...
