My 1988 90 300tdi now needs a new bulkhead to sit on its galvanised chassis so I'm thinking a galvanised one would be the way forward. My local independant LR specialist has warned me about a couple of manufactures that he's had issues with of late so who comes recommended? Thanks in advance.

Well an MOT failure last year has lead me along to the stage where my 1988 110 County is awaiting a new galvanised chassis from Richards and a new galvanised bulkhead which is being painted this week, so... Given the wealth of knowledge on the forum what would be the things you suggest I think...

I can now answer my own question, as I mentioned my bar is 135 mm, a bar from a range rover classic V8 is 146 mm, my guess is I have an intake manifold from a rangey and a connecting bar from a Defender! Thankfully now sorted

Hi All, I've just replaced my SU carbs on my 1988 110. All has gone well except that having balanced the carbs I find that as soon as I go to reconnect the link bar between the 2 the joining bar seems marginally too short i.e. as I connect it its opening the throttle slightly and putting the...
