This is also helpful @Stance - It reminds me to anchor cargo nets in layers to the structure to keep the contents in place. In Germany, one of my pass throughs, the police issue on the spot fines for poor loading internally. I recall seeing an older lady with her laden suitcases thrown onto...

Yep, the soft stuff is vac'd and it is indeed a round trip. The seats will be in my workshop ready to re-install upon return.

THANKYOU @Bife - those photos are incredibly helpful. I appreciate that you took the time to photograph and share. To see that space (in)directly is super. I can put the emergency and daily need items in the footwell under the board.
BONUS, I can save on hotels on my trip out to Hungary...

True but a few things that count against that for me, I don't have a roof rack and its household items that will need to be kept dry. I have a 2800km return and security is important, hence locked inside the hippo.

You read my mind @Freddie17, but I was just probably being too cautious and overthinking it all.

Yes and I agree, but I need every single cubic inch I can get. Thanks 🙏🏻

Thanks @Arctic2 and @Freddie, I had them folded down last year when moving from Austria to Hungary, then back to France. I felt I would have a “flatter” and larger space but your comments have been helpful. I’m pondering on it all now 🤔.

I shall be travelling to Hungary from NW France to collect a lot of household items. I am planning on removing the rear seats to make better use of the load space.
Is there a floor reinforcement panel in the commercial variant to distribute loads or is the floor robust in the 5 door Hippo...

Which disk manufacturer @kernowsvenski and can you feel a difference?

Here are the measurements of the chip by vernier caliper.

Exactly that, but I would want to do it privately for OUR community here. Let's park it until the autumn and I'll post an invitation for serial numbers and lock codes to evaluate, once I have checked out my setup as I get back to speed. From memory, I remember solving 27 simultaneous equations...
-
It could be as straightforward 😬 as solving a simultaneous equation with N unknowns. How many serial numbers and codes do you have @andyfreelandy? I am waiting to sign off to get my house/workshop/computing facilities back but I would give your data a spin to see if there is an algorithm I can...

I shall update you with the exact dimensions next week when I arrive home. 👍🏻

completed 1640 km in 2 days. I am going to double check tomorrow but I have close to 18km/l (51 mpg)!!! I wondered if the silicon oil would help reduce engine friction but that number if it checks out tomorrow night will be incredible.
EDIT: 823km and 52.49 litres = 44.3 mpg (at largely 110...

I think my key is a recut from a blank, but how it is in a LR holder intrigues me. I do have a chip in mine. 2005 Facelift.
