No don't have a workshop manual as yet and yes there is oil leaking. My son had a look but couldn't see the oil filler or level bung. It is a manual gearbox. Just realised I forgot to add that to my question. Will pass info on and hopefully all will be well again. Thank you.

We have a 1997 R reg P38. It has it's faults and niggles and probably always will. But you know what, I love it!! I won't let my hubby part with it. Would definately have another one.

:) At last we have cured the hot starting problem on our P38. All it took was a little black box purchased off ebay that tricks it into thinking the engine is cold. It puts the glow plugs on for 30 seconds. doesn't alter anything else. No more sat there turning engine over and over. If you want...

Apart from contacting a dealer is the any other way of finding out what the emergency access code is for my 97 P38 RR. There was no card with the vehicle when we bought it and there is nothing in the owners manual. We need to fit the hot start fix to it and are not sure if we need this code or...
